Vehicle financing
Driving has never been easier
HSBC Amanah offers Shariah compliant vehicle finance solutions to meet your particular needs, financial and religious. We cater for auto financing based on murabaha as well as ijara contracts.
The murabaha works like a standard fixed rate car loan, allowing you to own the car and pay for it in easy instalments. Just identify the car you want, and let us take care of the rest. The ijara, or auto lease, is a standard car lease where instalments fluctuate depending on the changes in the market rate.
HSBC first purchases the car and then rents it out to you for a certain period in return for periodic rental payments. The instalments are linked to the market rate and financing period agreed with you, so that we recovers the cost of the car plus a profit for conducting business. Once the lease period has been completed, we will transfer the title of the car to you.
