HSBC Amanah Commercial Banking in the Middle East wins Islamic Trade Finance award

HSBC Amanah Commercial Banking in the Middle East has been awarded Trade and Forfaiting Review’s Gold Award for Best Bank for Islamic Trade Finance.

Noting that HSBC has a long history of supporting Islamic Trade Finance, particularly in the Middle East, Trade and Forfaiting Review praised HSBC Amanah’s global reach, naming it a ‘worthy winner’.

Commenting on the win, Nabeel Abdul Rahim, Regional Head of HSBC Amanah Commercial Banking in the Middle East, said: "With the international distribution network of the HSBC Group at our disposal, HSBC Amanah is one of the only Islamic trade finance providers that can combine local service with global reach".
