HSBC is proud to be a member of the DJSI World Index, which selects the top 10 per cent ‘sustainability leaders’ among the world’s 2,500 largest companies.

FTSE4Good

FTSE4Good Index Series

HSBC has been a member of the ethical index FTSE4Good since its inception and was again successful in gaining inclusion in the 2008 index.

Carbon Disclosure Project

HSBC takes part in the Carbon Disclosure Project, the highest standard for facilitating dialogue between shareholders and corporations on carbon emissions. As signatory investors to the project, HSBC completes a yearly questionnaire that requires us to be transparent about the impact of climate change on our business.
