Our Programme
The HSBC Amanah global analyst programme is designed to give you broad theoretical and practical experience of the Islamic finance sector, as well as a thorough knowledge of the wide range of products the HSBC Group offers. When you complete the programme, you will have everything you need to make your mark in this exciting emerging sector.

You will begin with a nine-week training programme, followed by three six-monthly rotations in different HSBC offices (including three months in our central Shariah team), which could include London, Kuala Lumpur, the Middle East or New York. Our central functions are based in Dubai, London and New York. What makes this programme special is the opportunity it gives you to work closely with a variety of different businesses in HSBC Amanah.

Our programme is designed to train and develop our leaders of the future and to introduce talented people to every aspect of the business. You will learn the full complement of basic skills relative to our core HSBC Amanah products and services, and gain an in-depth, working knowledge of at least one technical and product area. You will receive all the support and advice you need, however we also believe that nothing teaches faster than experience, and so you should expect early responsibility. You will be encouraged to become an active team member on each of your rotations, and you will learn directly from working with some of the finest professionals in the industry.

Typically, rotations are split as follows:

Technical/product rotation:

  • Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets (CIBM) HSBC Amanah
  • Personal finance services
  • Commercial banking
  • Takaful

Infrastructure rotation:
